The great artist Titian was once commissioned a painting that he did not even name, because he did not know what creates one of the greatest masterpieces of art. The painting was painted in 1514, on the occasion of the wedding of a wealthy Venetian, who apparently ordered a beautiful canvas as a gift to his bride. Many years later, the picture was bought out, and began to be shown to viewers under the name "Heavenly Love and Earthly Love."

No one knew what the artist meant by drawing this composition, depicting a lady sitting near a well and a goddess who came down to her for an important conversation. You can understand that this is actually a goddess by the way she looks charming and perfect, the forms of this woman, who in her nakedness is so beautiful that she simply cannot be anyone else.

The head of a naked woman is turned towards a beautifully dressed lady, as if asking her about something. The lady froze in thought, as if listening to a distant voice. A little behind the pair is a cupid boy.

In the background of the picture you can see the lake, and behind it the viewer can see the city, and the protruding church spire. The scene takes place at dusk, which thicken behind the backs of the main characters in action, and only the light coming from these two beautiful creatures allows the viewer to see the whole picture bright and bright.

Researchers suggest that these women are Medea and Venus, but it is possible that this girl, dressed in a rich dress and there is a bride who was destined for the picture as a gift, and the goddess who came down from heaven came to envy her beauty. Cupid symbolizes the groom's love for his bride. There is also a version that presents a picture, like a hand-drawn retelling of the plot of the then famous book of the Venetian writer Francesco Colonna.

Without knowing it, Titian painted the best picture of the past and our time, which continues to be admired, even by critics of his work.
